It seems like things from the past always become popular once again. It's easy to think of it as a full circle kind of process but doesn't it surprise you that color schemes, music, and almost everything associated with popular culture has been done before. Thats always been my problem with what the masses are into. Don't let the single stream of influence be all you have. There are so many outlets that don't take much effort, furthermore it should be your goal as a progressive person to help people who are stuck that that horrible cycle called "settling." Make a CD and give it to someone that needs it. Grab an ipod and just fill it with the smooth stylings of someone that is actually musically talented.

I am starting another box fully BMX related called "Soap Box" on the alienation.com website. Everything that doesn't make the site will end up here, which will be everything negative. Can't wait for this new step in life. Oh, and the camera work will hopefully get better as well. Wish me luck!

Social Media is kind of a crazy thing. Im an inch away from just letting this blog die. At first it was awesome and I really felt like I got something back from posting my mediocre creativity on the internet but now It's just something to pass the time when I'm drunk or just find a good picture. While on twitter in San Antonio I posted some pics of street spots when Edward Koenning responded that he worked close by. Ed rode for poor boy and got help from Standard, my two favorite companies. I would rewind his parts, make my bike look like his, and try to emulate his style. Although he had no idea who I was, just riding his bike influenced another person 3000 miles away. Thank you Ed! It's always acceptable to start the night out with an Awesome Blossom, or maybe some cheese fingers, but too just plow through a straight beer bong with families in the restaurant is always the right choice.

As a few of you know I have been down in Guadalajara doing Bmx demonstrations for the masses. I love where Bmx has taken me and the adventures that are rewarded from that passion. These are a few fun photo's that I have been keeping my hands on for you wonderful people. Here is myself and Cody Cavanough getting our red carpet on. I look like a Columbian Coke runner..which I might be..
I found a Terror Dactyl one morning... That moth was gigantic and of course we all tried to touch it and screamed like girls as it flew away. Seriously that thing was almost 4 inches wide, way bigger than a bat.

This picture is the aftermath when Cody ran into the wall during the show. The two black marks are from his flip levers, by his left ankle is where his tire hit, and the thing he is pointing too is the bolt from his number plate, embedded into the concrete. I'd say it was a good crash, glad to see he walked away from it with only bent forks and a want for Chili's.
This is FMX art at it's finest. Check out the paparazzi for their character. It started with one person doing donuts, then another would make the eye, the other eye and it got very "creative" after that. Pretty neat when you think about it. If they had made this in France it would be genius, but in Mexico they just ask do monster truck donuts over it. It was fun while it lasted. Expect some epic pics sooner than later... sheesh this place is crazy!

Here is a picture that best describes the part of Mexico I am currently in. See those manila barrels on top of the roofs? They are water catchers, and every house/shack/shanty/fort/home has one equipped because in between sweeping the dirt floor, you'll need water to drink, and if you know ANYTHING about Mexico, you don't drink the water. When is the last time you had to stop because driving because a herd of cattle was meandering across a major highway? I took this picture this morning, 2010. I have never been as humbled as I have been the last 72 hours. 47 of them spent in a car either driving or navigating or trying to sleep. The problem with trying to sleep on Mexico roads is that they suck and you shake like Mohammad Ali. It's the worst, make sure you FLY wherever you want to go in Mexico!

Stairway to Heaven. This was taken randomly while riding my bike over to Zack Warden's hotel because he broke his crank arm and had to use mine. I am pumped to say my cranks have done a bike flip, bar to whip, and a double whip on vert and are in the trick list. I hope they paid attention so I can do them someday...I will never do any of those tricks...
Mykel Larrin and the stairway to Heaven. He made his way onto the vert ramp and said he rode the best session he has ever had. Something about ramps and bikini's will guarantee you a much harder pump on Vert. I enjoy this a bunch...
And this picture was taken at the trail jam last weekend in Sheboygan falls. It's so awesome the feeling of ridding trails and keeping momentum going. But it's also wonderful the friendship that BMX and fun brings together. More importantly, we are all here for the narcotics.

Luck seems to follow anytime a Dew Tour final goes down. I can't really put my finger on what it is, but It's safe to assume that Ryan Sheckler has something to do with teen pregnancies in the areas surrounding Dew Tour. Somehow when action sports people show up it automatically turns into a whip-it-out festival, and Las Vegas encouraged it! Blah blah blah.. What I'm trying to say is look...boobs...

I'm not sure why but every night in Vegas was started with the stomach ache in a bottle, Smirnoff Ice. It just took Someone to mention it and they were purchased 4 at a time. I'm an idiot.

I figured out the remedy for losing drinks amongst others. Just cut a water bottle in half and drink out of the half that has the cap on it. You can't stop drinking if you can't set your drink down. I should have stole those sunglasses.

If the Hard Rock has one thing going for it, it's the use of music photography around the spot. Every time I saw this picture of Sid I would get a really strange feeling. The man partied so hard he died...and took Nancy with him... No one hates themselves more than I do and it's never more apparent than in whiskey Blackouts. I've drive my friends frantic, trying to pick me up because I send just the word "help." and turn my phone off. Often times I will erase the whole text conversation at the end of the night, so I have no idea what I even said. I don't know what my problem is but sooner or later it's going to completly backfire and I can't wait to stick out my chin and take it! Anyway, the last post was "one of those" things and as I read it mildly sober I think this.... I don't ever want a relationship like anything I've already been though. Moving on...
We talk about Risk vs. Reward a lot on this blog and here is chancing it for the sake of good ass times. We did a tribute to Evel Knevil at the Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee and we got to take the ramps to the skatepark for everyone to enjoy. As always, didn't have the right equipment, but we had equipment. I wish I had a picture of the construction workers face when I was just INCH away from hitting their stuff in the middle of the road Ah well..Run it like you're in Mexico...I am a Mommy's boy. You should be too. I help her as often as I can and when I see boxes like this, I take pictures. She teaches a parenting class and has a lesson on it in case anyone important reads this. I went to Fort Wayne and had a marvelous time hanging out with the locals. I ran into this familiar face and watched him go through $1600 in pull tabs in one sitting. He won some, he lost others. When I left he was down $100 and bought me a hamburger. mmmmm... I was told a bunch of crazy stories about him and my favorite one involved him choking out the driver while both were inebriated...and moving. Never mind the penis flash and pissing on the bar, this guy is FUN/Dangerous!

One of the hardest parts in anyone's life is admitting faults, bad decisions, and focusing on indecisiveness in the time of crisis. I have and always will preach that positivity and shaking off the bad decision is always the right move but what can one do when looking back and realizing missed opportunity?

Dwelling has never fixed anything and being proactive about something that cannot be changed is foolish. But what of the mental anguish and feelings of loathing which cannot be avoided nor cured?

Furthermore, the long term psychedelic harm which years of therapy cannot crack and the pain and anguish on friends and family, all caused by running away from something that may have made you uncomfortable at that time in space. Years down the line all of it could have been avoided by taking the reins when it's the most difficult thing to do. What does this all mean????

I guess I've been trying to take the blog in a different direction and I'm not sure how I feel about it. I'm just going to make it a melting pot of whatever mediocre creativity I possess. That in mind, here is a bland post. Doogie Hauser invented blogging.

So I've been in mexico a few days and witnessed several crazy ass things. Nothing was more crazy than the picture above. About 5 seconds after I snapped this shot the man with the baby threw it into the air mattress thinking it would be bouncy. It was not because the fan was turned off and the baby basically got thrown from 4 feet to the ground. I'm not telling you how it ended...

Every bank I've went to has had no security. The hotel on the other hand has assault weapons. I took this at 730 am all tequilla lifed and this guy was not pumped. I was.

I've always enjoyed the polka sounds of Mexican music but nothing prepared me for the extravaganza of the bands in Mexico. First, they all match, secondly they all have background dancers that basically don't stop shaking their hips the entire set and move better than anything I've ever witnessed. The last band we watched was a "sex" band and had guys and girls dry humping with each other the whole time. This place is tolerant as long as it's sexual. I am enthralled with this city.

The ark handbook is a simple outline to help get you acquainted with the ark. Whether you are a seasoned vet or a new kid on the block, the powers that be has agreed with the following set of rules and guidelines that ARE EFFECTIVE IMMEADEATLY.

There will be an “Ark Orientation” where we will discuss this pamphlet and address concerns or questions you may have of your newly acquired lifestyle.

*Breaking of these rules, or just being a plain asshole will get you fired. Your action at The Ark does affect your status of employment at here

**Your “go to “ person about anything regarding a problem with the Ark is Timm or Matt . Do not go directly to the owner, you’re wasting his time.

***Don’t talk about the Ark. Do not tell campers where you live or what goes on when you are not at camp. Our entire existence for being here is for them and our number one priority is making this a fun and progressive time while they are here.

· NO GARBAGE IN FRONT OF YOUR ROOM

· LOW VOLUME LEVEL AFTER 11,

· Respect gets respect

· No Creeping

Happy birthday to my friend Uncle Chris. It's been so long since I've talked to him and today we spoke of the wonderfulness which is the hurricane I ensue when at home. I apologize ahead of time for any trouble I cause or relationship I ruin. Gotta stick with what your good at. Dudes like Chris should get 2 birthdays every year.
Lasers and shots and shots and lasers. This picture has been up on my desktop for such a damn long time and I don't know what else to do with it. On the bright side, if you look at the top picture of Uncle Chris, he has a laser in his hand while asleep. I am a professional blogger.
This was the scene in State College for St. Patties Fest. Basically an excuse to get drunk as shit and the college hates it. I love all of the snowballs that are battered around the window. We threw so many snowballs that day, and Lil Jon nailed me in the Jaw. It was sweet.
Speaking of Lil Jon, I hear he is going to get operated on this week so if you are in Milwaukee for Christ sakes stop by and keep the kid company. As for the above picture it was taken at the bar in State College. They are called Bong Water Monkey Boys and it's basically a long island with a splash of flavor. Everyone had 2 and by the end of the night we got kicked out after Lil Jon was hitting on the bouncers Girlfriend. After mean mugging the bouncer all night he finally kicked us out with Jeeze yelling "lets be civil." Just another little story in the journey of life.
